“Till Kingdom Come, Which Side Are You On?” is a participatory performance inviting the audience to engage in a game that serves as part parody of the game of our current political system and part hope that we can collectively imagine a more equitable society. The game involves two teams—blue and green. The blue team consists of players such as the 1%, aiming to occupy all available squares, while the green team includes characters like the poet and the outsider, seeking to capture the 1% and redistribute wealth. As the game evolves, rules are altered, and chaos unfolds.The games we play as children and adults teach / reinforce the way we perceive our society and how we interact with it. This game disrupts the normal order of play and asks participants to consider their roles within these systems and encourages them to envision the new roles that they might play.
