Formerly Née was an online exhibition that draws upon real and imagined narratives to create a collection of 'herstories'. The project follows the artist’s journey to connect with her maternal lineage by posing the question, ‘What would my surname be today if the tradition were to take my mother’s name?’ It includes artwork from community members produced from an online workshop, a video piece by the artist and a poem by artist and writer, Saskia Doherty.  To view the archived exhibition, click here.
